Peer Support Specialist - JRDC, ORCC An entry-level position that consists of a network of people with lived experience related to drug use. Provide recovery support services in partnership with community providers to offer consumers direct recovery community support. Provide wrap-around support to strengthen protective factors for individuals and families while addressing administrative barriers such as criminal histories, access to financial services, transportation, child care, safety net programs, and job readiness; encouraging lasting recovery for all who choose to participate.

The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services to support clients establishing recovery from alcohol and/or drug use. The Peer Recovery Coach works in conjunction with the clinical team to provide peer support and inspiration to encourage clients throughout their recovery journey in a manner that is respectful, therapeutic, and free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
