Concerted Care Group, Inc is looking for an innovative, committed, and highly skilled Charge Nurse to grow our integrated health organization in Dover, DE to begin in January 2024. Kolmac/CCG offers the most effective treatment of addiction available – including addiction to heroin, morphine, codeine, oxycodone, prescription painkillers, and other opiates. We’ve been around for 5 years, and we are just getting started. Our outpatient clinic is conveniently located in the communities that we serve.

We treat the whole person, not just the chemical dependency of addiction.

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Charge Nurse is responsible for attaining and maintaining optimum and qualitative levels of nursing coverage for all programs, dispensing and medical operations. Responsible for supervision, encouragement, and motivation of nurses and interns and coordination with other departments and external stakeholders.

Principle Responsibilities and Tasks

Adheres to Company Standards of Conduct as delineated in the Statement of Ethics signed during New Employee Orientation.
Maintains a cooperative and positive attitude and approach to patients, staff, and visitors.
Employees are expected to perform all duties within a 40-hour week.
Employees are expected to maintain patient accounts and collections with 100% accuracy.
Performs all job responsibilities of Charge Nurse
Supervises nursing staff and addiction counselors including providing recommendations as to hiring, termination, evaluation, and discipline.
Develop and manage nursing schedules to include assuring coverage for vacancies and absences to assure adequate coverage for the optimum medication process for the patient population.
Responsible for medical services to be in compliance with Federal, State, COMAR, and CARF regulations/standards in regard to:
Medication Inventory & Process medical orders
Adequate security
Physical examination and medical evaluations performed on all clients as required
Prenatal protocol for the treatment of pregnant clients
Recalls conducted in accordance with program protocol
Submits and files clinical notes within 48 hours of the event.
Conduct employee performance improvement activities and prepare reports according to expected timeframes.
Participate and be able to lead treatment team meetings.
Participate in the review of new, readmissions, and transfer clients.
Review and resolve client concerns and formal complaints with guidance from the Medical and Program Director.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, other agencies, the community, etc.
Provide supervision and intervention in crisis management situations.
Assist OTP Clinical Program Administrator and OTP Medical Director in daily program operations.
Supervise the environment of care of the facility.
Supervise nurses and counselors in the assessment of clients for treatment needs and intervention.
Supervises the appropriate implementation of clinical intervention.
Maintain accurate records.
Ensures client notes regarding critical client matters are submitted in a timely manner.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensed with the state of DE as RN or LPN.
5 Years experience as a RN/LPN in and OTP, medication assisted treatment program.
3 years of supervisory experience
CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
Have been employed as a clinical supervisor before October 1, 2002 or have a master's degree in counseling or a related discipline or be approved to supervise by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
May be required to submit to post offer, annual, pre-employment physical examination /medical history check.
Will be required to submit to a PPD screening, or candidate may provide a record of vaccination from the previous employer within the last year.
Kolmac/CCG will offer Hepatitis vaccination.
