Training Program Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Training Coordinator with all tasks in developing and maintaining a quality training program. The Training Program Assistant will provide direct support to the program and the Training Coordinator including direct 1:1 support to students, staff and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with all duties of organizing, scheduling and maintaining a calendar of training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Coordinate logistics for training events, including venue booking, catering, and materials preparation and disbursement.
Professional and trauma informed communication with trainers, students and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation required by program, stakeholders and grantors.
Act as a point of contact for training program inquiries and requests.
Effective and professional communication through email, social media and other avenues.
Prepare and submit expense reports related to training activities.
Assist in program development and management including seeking new grant opportunities, providing information for grants and making sure the program operates within allowed budgets.
Assist in creating reports summarizing training outcomes, participant feedback, and other relevant metrics.
Represents and advocates for Peer Recovery Specialists and profession throughout state and country.
Ensures all training is registered with the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-health Certification Board for CEUs.
Must attend mandatory staff meetings and other meetings identified by Management.
Assist in maintaining a social media presence on all platforms.
Must maintain a work schedule, responsible for submitting receipts, travel reimbursements.
Assists with properly placing interns to complete their 500 hours for CPRS or 40 hr practicum for CWH internally or externally.
The individual will display competence in record keeping and effective communication skills and emotional intelligence while exhibiting professional mannerisms as a role model of the CPRS.
The Training Program Assistant is a Face and Voices of Recovery to the community, to organizations that employ CPRS and a role model to all Peers in Voices of Hope and throughout the State.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist within 6 months of employment
Certified Narcan Train the Trainer
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient in Google Suite
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
Registered Peer Supervisor within 1 year of employment
