This is a highly interactive training where participants will assist another person through emotional distress by connecting through feelings first, respecting each other as equally human, enabling us to be together without fixing, judging, or imposing our beliefs, allowing us to explore the unknown together, in the present moment, releasing our power to create new Voice, new purpose, and new hope.
Participants are required to have their cameras on throughout the course of the sessions as we are focusing on developing our socio-emotional competencies.
Additionally, this training will help prepare you to participate fully in your community and to provide support to others—friends, family, or people you haven’t met—who may be experiencing an emotional crisis.
eCPR ways of being can be practiced both by people trained in counseling, assessment, or other mental health skills, and also by those with no mental health training.
