We are actively hiring a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor / Drug Counselor to join our established outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP).
This is a W2 position with guaranteed hours — not fee-for-service.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred
OR
Maryland credentials: LGADC, LCADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT, LGPC, LCPC
Experience in substance use or behavioral health preferred
Strong documentation skills
Compassionate and professional approach to client care

Primary Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling (average 8–10 client sessions daily)
Develop and update individualized treatment plans
Complete timely documentation in EMR
Monitor client progress and support recovery goals
Participate in supervision and team meetings
Collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff
Maintain compliance with program policies and regulatory standards
Travel up to 15% for client-related activities.
Qualifications
