Join our team at PerSoN and play a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of mental health and wellness services. As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, you will leverage the PSN platform to provide vital support and recovery services to youth and other individuals in need of mental wellness guidance.
- Engage with Clients: Utilize the PSN application to conduct secure and confidential virtual sessions with clients, focusing on those in youth and general wellness demographics.
- Personalized Support: Offer personalized recovery support based on individual assessments, leveraging tools within PSN for tracking progress and adapting recovery plans.
- Educational Outreach: Use PSN’s comprehensive resources to educate clients on mental health issues, coping mechanisms, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Community Building: Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups via PSN, fostering a supportive community environment that encourages open communication and peer support.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on the PSN platform to ensure it meets the needs of clients and specialists, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist.
- Proven experience in mentoring, counseling, or support roles, particularly with youth and/or individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Strong understanding of recovery models, including evidence-based practices for mental health.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport through digital mediums.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
