Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical (LCSW-C)
Position Overview
A New Way of Wellness (ANWOW) is a transitional wellness organization serving individuals and families in recovery. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our clinical team. This is an independently licensed, senior-level role that provides therapy, assessment, clinical supervision, and diagnostic services. The LCSW-C is a cornerstone of our clinical program and will carry significant responsibility in shaping client outcomes and supporting staff development.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy to clients in recovery and transitional housing
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and establish clinical diagnoses
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
Provide clinical supervision to credentialed and credentialing counseling staff (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD)
Collaborate with case managers, peer support staff, and family advocates on integrated care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care coordination
Ensure compliance with Maryland COMAR regulations and licensing board standards
Qualifications
Active Maryland LCSW-C license (required)
Experience in substance use disorder treatment, mental health, or co-occurring disorders
Prior clinical supervision experience preferred
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, person-centered care
Excellent documentation and communication skills
