Sante is seeking a Full-Time Peer Support Specialist to join our Transitional Age Youth (TAY) team in Prince George’s County, Maryland. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play an active role in supporting youth clients by using your own experience with recovery to provide personalized care and guidance.

What You’ll Get:

Salary Range: $17.00-$18.00 per hour (depending on certification and experience)

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Assist in performing assessments, crisis intervention, and developing treatment plans
Serve as a liaison for collaboration with other involved parties, including families, friends, and community partners
Educate individuals about community resources related to mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency’s services
Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner

Qualifications

What We Require:

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of related experience
Three (3) years in full recovery from mental illness or substance abuse and five (5) years of lived experience
Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire)
Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance
What We Value:

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field
Two (2) years of related experience
