Turning the Kaleidoscope
A kaleidoscope brings together unique and vibrant parts in an ever-evolving design. Attendees of the On Our Own of Maryland 2023 Annual Conference will have an opportunity to reflect on existing issues and behavioral health situations, develop skills, practice self-care, and network with peers and topic experts by exploring DEI topics to include: ongoing advocacy efforts (in Maryland and beyond), dismantling racism in behavioral health, reducing internalized oppression and stigma, creating inclusive workplaces and communities.
Overall, conference attendees have the opportunity to participate in 3 keynote presentations and 4 breakout sessions (with 9 options) over 2 days and earn up to 8.25 total CPRS CEU hours from the following Domains: ADVOCACY (A): 1.5, ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY (E): 3, MENTORING/EDUCATION (M/E): 2.25, RECOVERY/WELLNESS (R/WS): 1.5.
