EmpowerPath Harm Reduction Intensive (6 CEUs)
Domain 5: Harm Reduction (4 Hours) | Domain 4: Recovery & Wellness (1 Hour) | Domain 3: Mentoring & Education (1 Hour)
This six-hour training strengthens the application of harm reduction principles in peer recovery practice. Participants examine autonomy, safety, dignity, stigma reduction, stages of change, overdose prevention awareness, and the definition of naloxone within peer scope. The course also addresses recovery capital, strength-based engagement, multiple pathways of recovery, and empowerment-based mentoring strategies. Instructional methods include lecture, facilitated discussion, applied exercises, and structured reflection.
