The Jordan Peer Recovery Training (JPRT) CORE Curriculum is a comprehensive 56-hour foundational training program designed to prepare individuals for certification as Certified Peer Recovery Professionals (CPRPs). Grounded in SAMHSA's 10 Guiding Principles of Recovery and aligned with MABPCB competency domains, this training equips peer support professionals with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to effectively serve individuals on their recovery and wellness journeys.
The JPRT CORE Curriculum covers five domains: Advocacy, Ethical Responsibility, Harm Reduction, Mentoring and Education, and Recovery and Wellness. Participants explore person-centered care, federal non-discrimination law, the return-to-use process, ethical decision-making, cultural responsiveness, harm reduction principles, trauma-informed approaches, multiple pathways to recovery, and evidence-based coaching and facilitation techniques.
This training is designed for aspiring and practicing peer recovery professionals seeking to strengthen their practice, meet MABPCB certification requirements, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
