ETHICS FOR CPRS RENEWAL
Overview
This CPRS Ethics Training is designed for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS) who are preparing to renew their certification and need to fulfill their ethics training requirements.
The training will strengthen participants’ understanding of ethical responsibilities, professional conduct, and appropriate boundaries within peer recovery support services. Through discussion and practical application, participants will explore the CPRS Code of Ethics, confidentiality, professional boundaries and dual relationships, cultural humility, ethical decision-making, and real-world scenarios commonly encountered in peer support settings.
This training supports continued professional growth while reinforcing ethical, person-centered, and recovery-oriented peer support practices.
