Peer Advocacy and Storytelling in Adolescent Mental Health Policy
Overview
Are you interested in legislative advocacy but are unsure of where to start?
Peer Advocacy and Storytelling in Adolescent Mental Health Policy will be presented by Youth Power Project (YPP) in collaboration with On Our Own of Maryland’s TAY Project. YPP is a youth and young adult led coalition that aims to break down barriers between lawmakers and youth by directly centering the stories and voices of young people in policy making at the local, state, and federal level.
This presentation is tailored for peer advocates eager to deepen their understanding of legislative advocacy and harness the power of storytelling to drive meaningful change. Join us as we empower the voices of young advocates in breaking down barriers between lawmakers and youth, creating a pathway for inclusive policy-making that truly reflects the needs and experiences of the next generation.
