This training will cover the knowledge areas and skills required for Peer Recovery Specialist candidates to demonstrate pathways to recovery/wellness, stages of recovery/wellness, and a strengths-based approach to recovery/wellness, as well as other Recovery/Wellness Domain-related elements, such as, goal setting, coaching techniques, group facilitation techniques, and recognizing/understanding trauma. A post-test will be given.
